LOGLINE: When a struggling social media influencer fakes a relationship with an Instagram model to boost his online presence, he must confront the consequences of his actions and find a way to balance his perceived and real-life relationships in order to build his ideal life.
WRITER BIO: With a relentless attitude, dedicated to avoiding bland, boiled chicken stories at all costs, Chan tells compelling stories about human connection and people that go unnoticed in her vibrant, gritty voice. She specializes in character-driven dramedies with memorable dialogue in multifaceted worlds. Chan has proven her skills with her first short film “All of the Lights”, which was well received and opened paths to new opportunities. After receiving her M.F.A in film in 2021, she is focused on building a pristine portfolio. Chan’s sweet spot is dramedy, crime drama, and dark comedy. She likes all of the guts and gore along with touching on serious topics with comedic undertones. Chan would like to write for shows like The Sopranos, Sex in the City, Scandal, Euphoria, Peacemaker, Abbot Elementary, Breaking Bad, The Boys, and Atlanta.
