DAYS OF THE WEEK
Comedy Pilot by Daniel Albino
LOGLINE: A remarkably unremarkable Day of the Week prepares to lobby for Valentines Day’s permanent move to the first Tuesday of February but must put his plans on hold to save humanity’s time structure from collapsing when his coworker Friday goes missing.
WRITER BIO: As a former D1 baseball player, ex-Wall Street suit, and current public school teacher, Bronx-bred Latino Dan Albino has worn a ton of hats. It’s no wonder the stories he writes feature characters from many walks of life. They are also tied together by a common thread - exploring the struggles and opportunities involving single-parent families with a healthy serving of sibling rivalry. Dan grew up as an only child on his father’s side and the oldest of 3 on his mother’s side when his parents split. His gritty, unapologetic imagination fuels his drama/thriller/horror scripts. This has helped him option a script with Tetrad Studios, placing in the Top 10 at Final Draft’s Big Break and the Top 25 at Roadmap JumpStart Competition. Dan is a proud Boricua and hopes to continue amplifying underrepresented voices in the genres everyone enjoys.
