LOGLINE: Grieving twin girls ask Santa for a dad for Christmas
WRITER BIO: Growing up in a traditional Black family, I was convinced to get a stable career so I had to put my love for writing to the side… I earned a degree in Microbiology and I worked in that field until my stories forced me out. Some of my characters are relentless! Sheesh!
NOW, I'm a comedy/sci-fi writer and my stories represent my culture - all things Black & Brown. Some of it is classy but I gotta have a bit of ratchetness for fun, right?
I've learned a lot from previous experiences with my own (FAILED) web miniseries as well as assisting on independent and union projects. I also have great industry-based communities where I sharpen my mad skillz!
I LUH God who commanded me to love others, so I love and respect EVERYONE, regardless of their choices and I hope the same is extended to me! We don't have to agree but I still love you!
My favorite scripture is Matt 6:33.
Last but not least, I'm a great wife, mother (6 children, blended), daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, friend, etc.
