Assistant Director Mona K. Bennett

Mona K. Bennett is a film and television professional born in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii, and a graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. She began her career as a production assistant on shows like Hawaii Five-0, Scandal, and Parenthood, and moved to Atlanta in 2016 to pursue her career as an assistant director. She worked her way up to 2nd Assistant Director before gaining experience as a 1st AD in 2019 on second unit productions, including Stargirl and Loki, and transitioned her skills set in main unit projects in 2022. She is married to Becca Bennett, who is in the camera department, and together they have two cats and a dog.
