WRITER BIO: A writer who’s had my head in a book or a pen to paper since I learned to read and write at just 4-years-old. On the first day of kindergarten when they asked me and my classmates what we wanted to be when we grew up, they all said, “Movie Star, Astronaut, Doctor, etc.” But not me. No, I said I wanted to be the first African American Pink Mighty Morphin’ Power Ranger. Sadly that dream never came true. That’s ok though. Because now, I write the heroes and sheroes I wanna see.
