LOGLINE: After killing the wrong target, a meticulous Black hitman known for humming soul songs and popping Lemonheads must cover his tracks before the dangerous forces of Nashville's underworld close in and unravel everything he's built.


WRITER BIO: Chandonae Baskin Smith is a Bay Area based screenwriter and director originally from Michigan by way of Nashville. An HBCU graduate with an M.F.A. in Creative Media and Film, she writes character-driven dramedies and crime dramas about human connection, messy love, and people who often go unnoticed. With a vibrant, gritty voice and memorable dialogue, Chan tells bold, emotionally honest stories about flawed people fighting to slay their Goliaths in messy, multifaceted worlds. She is a Start With 8 mentee whose work has screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals across the country.
