Writer/Showrunner’s Assistant/Producer Ian Olympio
Ian Olympio is an award-winning writer exploring identity through an intersectional lens. He was most recently a Co-Executive Producer on Season 3 of the critically acclaimed Starz drama P-VALLEY. Ian began his journey on the series as the Showrunner’s Assistant to creator Katori Hall, rising up the ranks while working closely alongside her for nearly a decade. Since 2021, Ian has partnered with the WGA East to run the Support Staff Training Program, a bootcamp he created to educate and mentor the next generation of television assistants. He is also an alumnus of the WGA East’s Made In NY Writers Room fellowship and the Almanack Screenwriters’ Episodic Drama program.
