WRITER BIO: Sarah Sprague, an action/adventure screenwriter, was born and raised in rural Michigan where her father encouraged her, at a very young age, to explore the woods, swim the Great Lakes, and climb trees for entertainment. While honing her screenwriting craft, she moved from an early career in Sales and Marketing to working in Physical Production on series and films, including several procedurals, multiple Judd Apatow comedies such as GET HIM TO THE GREEK, and a slew of big-budget action features like FAST FIVE. But it was on projects that blew up buildings, staged gun fights, and set stunt men on fire, that solidified her love for action. Sarah’s screenplays have placed in prestigious competitions such as TrackingB TV Pilot Competition, Cinestory TV Fellowship, and the Writer’s Lab (funded by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman). When Sarah isn’t writing, she’s jumping from airplanes, diving with sharks, or walking amongst grizzly bears on the Katmai Peninsula. Sarah currently lives in Venice, California with her husband.
