LOGLINE: After losing her husband to cancer, a mother and her 10-year-old twins leave Los Angeles in search of a health-focused, organic life on idyllic Vashon Island, Washington. But back-to-nature takes a sinister turn when a long buried secret threatens their lives.


WRITER BIO: Steven Wishnoff is a native New Yorker who grew up with keen interests in Classic Television, Movies and Theatre. His writing frequently includes themes of self-discovery, life lessons learned and more often than not a hint of nostalgia. While he began as an actor in his teens, both his performance and writing skills were honed in the prestigious SUNY Fredonia BFA program. He’s appeared in venues large and small in NYC, across the U.S in National Tours and Regional theatres. as well as Europe. He began to make his mark behind the scenes in television when he became senior writer/producer (seven+ years) for Viacom networks Nick @ Nite and TVLand. His work there earned TVLand its first ever EMMY nominations and he was awarded The Viacom Vision award for outstanding company contributions. While at Viacom, Steven was cast in a recurring role on HBO’s first original drama, OZ (created by Tom Fontana). With the support of both employers, he worked as a producer and as an actor simultaneously for five years. Once OZ wrapped, he made the move to Los Angeles. Since his arrival on the west coast, he has concentrated on writing. He was the writer of The LA Area Emmys for five consecutive years, spent two years as Director of Development at PBS LA (KLCS), did a pilot presentation of an original sitcom (The Legend & Me) at CBS and created the half hour comedy Life Interrupted. The latter was written for a collection of “TV-famous friends” and went on to win some 17 Awards, across all categories, on the festival circuit. Over the last decade. in addition to studying at The Groundlings and appearing in short films, web series and network television, he is developing both features and pilots.
