WRITER BIO: Tish Arana is an LA-based, Midwest-born storyteller whose multifaceted artistry as a director, writer, and actor delves into themes of identify, humanity, and any and all things related to the Black experience. Tish’s award-winning directorial debut, The Burden, made waves on the festival circuit, having screened at prestigious festivals including Urbandworld, Inside Out in Toronto, and the London Short Film Festival. The film ended its festival run and found a home at the Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) in Seattle, Washington where it will be a part of a curated Science Fiction exhibit until Spring 2027.
