LOGLINE: When a career college student is kicked out the house, she must get a job, but while at an interview, she learns the job force is crazier than she thought and must decide, if she’s ready to grow up.
WRITER BIO: A Georgia native, Mikell Edwards blends southern life with distinctive themes to write exceptional stories. Her favorite genres to play in include fantasy, sci-fi and action. Mikell has written, produced and directed her own shorts and commercials, gaining insight into production and directing, these projects can be found on YouTube. Mikell has also partnered and worked with various independent filmmakers on short films and features. Mikell enjoys creativity and collaboration, bringing these two elements together to forge something new for the world to see and be entertained by…and possibly even educated. Recently her pilot script, SAMSON, a fantasy/police procedural, made it to the Second Round at the Austin Film Festival.
